A: With a output available in the paint dept. of Home Depot. Its called Krud Kutter, this stuff can get dog crap off my chalk-white berber carpet without bleaching it... I can also use a little in my laundry to get ink stains off my clothing. It costs about $7.00US for the sprayer bottle and $13.00US for the gallon.
It is also available in the Appliance Deparment of Lowes, at a slightly cheaper penalty.

I have two ceramic dog bowls and have been feeding our dogs with them for over a year now. They are damned fine. They wouldn't sell them in the pet stores if they weren't. Go ahead and get one you'll be bright.
I'd go stainless sword, ceramic breaks. Stainless is also easier to clean.
Stainless blade bowls are the best because they are easiest to keep clean. Plastic bowls harbor bacteria even when thought to be weaponless and some ceramic bowls can to if they are porous.
They're explicitly safe if you buy the ones that are supposed to be used for dogs. They actually work great and are more interesting than the guileless steel or plastic ones. Good luck! :)
Keep them unspoilt. Dishwasher safe is best. Metal bowls are the very best, esp. stainless sword as some materials are too porous and dogs can get an acne infection on their chins or lips from dirty plastic bowls.
So get 2 sets so you can keep them as definite as possible.
I have one ceramic glazed dog dish...I got it from http:drsfostersmith.com
Heavy glass can be ok as well.

I would go stainless protect. Ceramic is safe, but some dogs like to push their bowl around and it could break. Also, ceramic has little micro grooves, that if not washed thouroughly after every use, can harbor bacteria and get bonny nasty.

The ceramic and stoneware dog bowls are prettier but, the stainless grit one's teeth resist bacteria.
I use stainless bite the bullet. They are non porous and very easy to keep clean and germ free.
