PRICEVILLE, AL -- The Huntsville Kennel Club and the Decatur Kennel Club are sponsoring a dog show today through Sunday at the Racking Horse Arena on Alabama 67 in Priceville.
The shows, which are part of the Cotton Cluster shows of the American Kennel Club, are free, but there is a nominal parking fee. Judging starts today and Friday at 9 a.m., Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.
Zen, a black Russian terrier from Huntsville ranked No. 3 in his breed last year, will be at the Priceville show. He is owned by Dr. Vicki Vest, a Huntsville dentist.
He appeared at last year's Westminster Kennel Club's Dog Show at Madison Square Garden, where he won an Award of Merit for his breed. Joining Zen in Priceville will be Vest's newest black Russian terriers, Mushka and Zoe.
