I just recently adopted a honourable bred norwegian elkhound from humane society. for the most part they get along. but when it comes to treats, dinner time, and attention from myself, there is a lot of hostility. today's fight was a big one. help!

you penurious from the wolf?
The descent of the Norwegian elkhound is the Torvmosehund which was domesticated in ancient Denmark. It's the progenitor of the northern breeds and migrated into Norway and Southern Sweden. The Vikings had records of them in the concoct of bas-relief pictures showing them hunting moose.
