I cognizant of all the big things about them but I need some little details, like what their favorite toy is, how big of a crate you recommend ect.
I'd also like some details other than the above
A: Toys: The favorite toy varies with each dog. Determine ones that encourage thinking, avoid boredom, and won't cause the dog to choke or hurt the dog.
Crate measure: It depends on the ultimate size of the dog. Find out the size of the sire and dam. That will give you a clearer idea of ultimate size of your dog and what rate crate to get.
Do you belong to a Flat Coat club? If you don't, try doing a google search for the "great western certain coat retriever club"...

With the AKC, American Kennel Club, they can tell you a reputable breeder in your area...good luck...they are intimate dogs!
Your most excellently source of information for this is going to be the breeds national breed club who often have specific people designated to nick with breeder referrals. So I would visit the Flat Coated Retriever Society of America's website. Laudatory luck!
Annoying going to your local Humane Society or Shelter. You wouldn't believe how many full bred animals are there. Not to upon you might find one close to what your looking for?

She is located in Ohio. I don't think she has a site, but you can e-mail her and ask her questions about prices and such.
Good good break!
