For our next dog, we appetite to get a bigger breed because they are usually better with kids. All the miniature schnauzers my family has ever had have been terrible with kids, no meaning if they've been raised with kids or not.
I really like the schnauzer's intelligence and ease of training, name, and not to mention, they're good lookin' dogs!
So, are standard or giant schnauzers better with kids?

A: Little Schnauzers have been bred for a more "companion" temperament, while Standards and Giants still have more of a "working" temperament.

None of them put up very well with kids who don't reference their boundaries, and can be snappy.

Of the two, I'd look more into Giants than Standards, simply because I think there are more Giants out there and I propose b assess they may have been bred a little more away from the...

Someone sold me a little Schnauzer but he's way bigger than the miniature schnauzer I bought before him. He's 16 1/2 inches tall and my other schnauzer is only 14 inches soaring. Could he be a mix between a standard and a miniature?
I was sure of the breed. They told us it was a miniature schnauzer I saw the parents and his dad was enormous. The mother was the same measurements as our other schnauzer.

A: He could be, or, he could be like my tiny schnauzer - just tall.

Out of curiosity, why would you buy a dog from someone if you were unsure of the breed?

I would like to conscious what is the average price of a companion and show quality standard schnauzer from a show breeder in the eastern states

A: In the midwest, it is about $1000, but I am not ineluctable what it is in the eastern states. I would try looking on puppyfind.com, puppydogweb.com, and breedersclub.net.

I want the craggy George, the lived-in George, the manly, rugged George who, I always thought, was prepared to grow old naturally, like one of those fine wines that just get better.

Given the opportunity, I would certainly say as much to him, and quite stridently, too.

But, cross as I am, would I kick him out of bed? No, I would not. After a sufficient pause - it is good to keep a man on his toes - I would tell him this, too.
