see connection for some tips on how to introduce the dog to the cats. good luck, but be prepared to ask for professional assistance, keep them separated, or give someone up. terriers are of surely bred to chase and kill prey.

ok well it all depends on how you file him. you can very easily teach him to like the cats and that he is absolutly not allowed to go after them. he might try to go after them at first though but what you need to do is keep and eye on him and when he trys something tell him no and show him its bad.

my confrere has an ariedale terrier and a cat. she has to keep them in seperate places. she just got the cat but her dog is not use to the cat yet. slowly he is warming up to her...

I don't over the breed matters as much as the individual dog. I know dogs that will never get along with cats because their chasing instinct is just too intense. There is a process you can follow when first bringing the cats home that often helps. Please see the article for information on this introduction system:

Hi it sounds like you are contemporary to have your work cut out for you . Terriers are naturally stubborn and dominant , and require a strong leader .A dominant dog being introduced to anything on his province will give you a problem it's his and he will do whatever it takes to defend his territory , also terriers are breed for hunting rabbits, rats e.t.c (not being cultivate specific just in general). So My advice is claim your territory back before even thinking about introducing cats...
