I recently discovered the attractive breed of dog called a chinese crested. I would like to buy a hairless female, but of course I'm expecting it to be a little over the odds. So what I would like to know is how much (in a range I guess) a female hairless Chinese Crested would cost. I would agree to spay the puppy and would single out a breeder within the state of Michigan if someone can provide a breeder.
A: A kind-hearted breeder should be willing to sell a pet quality Crested for around $700-1200. Pet-quality dogs should all be the same price, not more for the hairless. Be trusty to research this breed carefully, as there are a few health problems that are devastating. Definitely avoid puppy mills, pet shops, or BYB's. This propagate takes a knowledgeable person, as the hairless gene can cause other problems(it is known as a semi-mortal gene).

So he's in fact half Chinese Crested, a quarter Boston Terrier, and a quarter Shih Tzu.
He might get some more fur, he's still very young! You should post a look-alike or two, that's a mix I'd PAY to see!
what you see is what you get.. his plaits may grow longer, but he wont get more. It sounds like you have what we call a "true" hairless.. he has baby body hair.

They are what they are. If he is a calvous/hairless as opposed to a hairy hairless, he will stay that way. As they age their skin will darken a bit. They might sprout a few hairs here and there, but he will persevere a leavings a hairless/hairless.
Hairy hairless have quite a lot of hair and look like a schnauzer with mange.
dunno, but i would infatuation to see a pic.
