I recently discovered the attractive breed of dog called a chinese crested. I would like to buy a hairless female, but of course I'm expecting it to be a little over the odds. So what I would like to know is how much (in a range I guess) a female hairless Chinese Crested would cost. I would agree to spay the puppy and would single out a breeder within the state of Michigan if someone can provide a breeder.

A: A kind-hearted breeder should be willing to sell a pet quality Crested for around $700-1200. Pet-quality dogs should all be the same price, not more for the hairless. Be trusty to research this breed carefully, as there are a few health problems that are devastating. Definitely avoid puppy mills, pet shops, or BYB's. This propagate takes a knowledgeable person, as the hairless gene can cause other problems(it is known as a semi-mortal gene).

I have a shitsu nad we have breeded her with a chinese crested powderpuff. Can someone show me what her puppies would lok like. I have searched and searched and turned up empty handed. If someone can give me a vinculum that has a picture of them thatnk you!

Yes, the puppies will be MUTTS! They are a mixed breed dog! There's no guarantees on what they will look like except for lightweight. They could have a shorter nose of the shih tzu, or a longer nose like a crested.. or something in between.

You had a choice... both dogs should have been kept separated until they were spayed and neutered. There are lavishness of Shih Tzu and Shih...

I am exasperating to buy a hairless chinese crested, and the woman I am buying from is not even sure yet if the breading was successful.

I am just wondering, what my chances are of getting one of these puppies......Anyway, I be included if they have several I will have a better chance than if they have 2. : )
