We had a cat burglar the other night so my mom wants to buy a new dog. She wants to buy a chinese shar pei since its a fighting dog but I don't think it'll be a good keep dog. What do you guys think?
A: If the only talk over with you're looking at getting a new dog is to guard the property, then, honestly, you're better off with a security warning because it will be a lot less trouble for the same function. Obviously, if you're a dog lover and want a dog as a pet anyway, then that's great! :)

its the same for any other dog as they are all the same species. Shar peis were bred for dog fights which is why they are wrinkly (they can round and bite another dog while the dog is holding it.
