craigslist.com has a pet allocate that I've found wonderful in my own community. You don't mention where you live, but it's a good adoption resource to meet approval out. Make sure you charge some sort of adoption fee, to prevent your animals from being "adopted" by unconscionable sorts who do unhappy things to animals. You can include pictures on craigslist, which is a plus to getting your babies into new homes.

You have your pattern newspaper...

Try to find a resemble closely collie rescue group or breeder/trainer and ask for some references or help. They would be more reputable and have the ability to qualify potential new owners.

Do a google search on Edge Collie Rescue and give them a call. They willl be happy to take your dogs and re-home them in an appropriate family. You probably already identify this, but don't give them up to a shelter--they can't guarantee that they won't be put down.
I hope that in the end you will be able to take them with you. It's sad when circumstances condition up your family... and they are family!

Moulding Collies are smart herding dogs. To give them the life they were intended to have, find a cattle ranch or horse ranch and ask if they would control to take them in for you.

If they were your children would you not have planned your move with them in intelligence or would you have adopted them out or turned them over to childrens aid. When you get a dog it is supposed to be a lifetime commitment, not just when convenient for you, are you aware your dogs will go through a greiving manipulate and feel severe pain of loss and abandonment, they are not just pieces of property they have emotions, they go through love just like a child does. People that are...

Mostly you can and should take your pets with you. Moving with border collies is not impossible. Now if you had pit bulls and were moving to an area that they were banned in...that's peculiar.
