Can a Portuguese Water Dog be leftist outside in the snow, in sub-32 degree Fahrenheit weather? If so, for how long? I know they were bred to lay out time in the ocean, but I am wondering what temperatures feel good to them.
A: My PWD loves the frosty but prefers to be inside with the humans. We've played hard for 30-40 minutes in 20 quite b substantially weather with snow with no problems. Normally, he goes outside for five minutes and is ready to come back in. I wouldn't make him out unattended much longer. As you probably know, a bored Portie is going to get in to trouble.

idk but omg those r so beautiful!!
You could check up on the CKC website under Portuguese Water Dogs,or buy the Dogs Annual magazine which pretty much all of Canada's top breeders advertise in, or attend a dog show in your bailiwick and meet the dogs, breeders/owners there.
Control out the Portuguese Water Dog Club of Canada, they should be able to refer you to someone.
