Can a Portuguese Water Dog be leftist outside in the snow, in sub-32 degree Fahrenheit weather? If so, for how long? I know they were bred to lay out time in the ocean, but I am wondering what temperatures feel good to them.

A: My PWD loves the frosty but prefers to be inside with the humans. We've played hard for 30-40 minutes in 20 quite b substantially weather with snow with no problems. Normally, he goes outside for five minutes and is ready to come back in. I wouldn't make him out unattended much longer. As you probably know, a bored Portie is going to get in to trouble.

I have two Portuguese Water Dogs and I impartial wanted to know what other people think of this breed. I am simply in love---but I want your opinion!

A: I acquainted with to walk these two VERY cute portuguese water dogs! In fact, I was thinking of getting one, but, I forgot what pulled me back. Anyways, they are great dogs! They don't cote, are easy to walk, and are easy to train! I hope that you have a fun time with your two lucky dogs! Thanks,

A: We dont have a PWD.. but my dad does have a Guideline Poodle, which is a similar breed.

I know how fun it is too meet people who have the same breed... expecially when you have an unconventional breed. I have Chinese Cresteds.. its always exciting to meet other CC owners!

The girls' father publicly promised them a puppy during his presidential campaign, and in January of this year, Obama told reporters the front-runner breeds were a Portuguese Water Dog and a Labradoodle.
