I have two rottweilers. They have been tormenting the neighbors horses, mule, chicken and goats. They recently killed a goat and have been accused of killings some chickens. She is a talented dog but I am afraid she is ruined now.
A: Umm...you have a rottwiler that is windfall your neighbors livestock?
I would have already killed your dog. Have you ever heard the term good fences make good neighbors?
You extremity to put up a 6 foot fence, with electric wire at both the top and the bottom, so your rottie neither digs out, nor jumps over.
You need to get out your checkbook, and pay for each and every cull animal your dog has killed, and any damage to fences or building that...

I passion Mine I have 3 also, There big babies lovable loyal caring sweet funny loves to snuggle and give kisses all day. But then again IF they go to capable people there all like this but some don't get so lucky to get into a nice home an safe environment as other breeds too.

enormous dogs. It is working class so you need to give them the proper exercise
Yiu are so without hesitating. The same can me said for Dobermans, and even pit bulls.
The ones I have known have all been well raised and of course as soppy as any Lab/Retriever...just a lot bigger!
I assent to. I was bitten by a rottweiler last summer, and needed 6 stitches. The owner couldn't have been more than 16 and indubitably had no control over the dog. Incidently they are still one of my favourite breeds.
It's more than appropriate dude that the problems of late with this 'breed' & the 'staffies' are due to 'feckless ownership', at least that's how it appears!.....
They are girl killers...end of story.
(oh but I luv my rottie...staffie...etc, etc, etc)
...yawn....
I'm disposed to agree with you there, I had a Rottweiler a few years ago an he was a big softie.
If you raise them to bite people and be vicious they will be, as it happens Determined was always coming to the pub with us so he got loads of attention.
Any breed can be vicious, its how you raise them that counts.
