A: You can show them in AKC exhibition events, like Obedience or Rally-O, by getting them an Indefinite Listing Privilege (ILP) number.
The dog must be spayed/neutered and become available to be purebred.
If you want to show in conformation (real shows, not the APRI ones), you need to have AKC registered dogs.
