i have a 8month old st bernard. i am feeding systematic dog food. he does not seem to like it. what would be a good food for him. wet & dry. thanks chris
A: My St. Bernard would not eat consistent foods either. I feed Wellness and he does great on it!
We tried Eukanuba, Nutro, and Holistic and I when all is said tried Wellness and he absolutely loves it. I put Vita Gravy on the food to get him to eat it at first and after about 1 week I weened him to moral eating the food without the gravy.
Always go with hard food for healthy teeth!

they are precious and fun but dont live as long as most smaller breeds and tend to get bad knots if they are not brushed regularly. Also the well-known type ones drool, A LOT!

When you are dealing with larger breeds like that its VERY signal to make sure the breeder you purchase your puppy from has had both of the parent's hips x-rayed. Defective hips are genetic and you need to know what you may be facing in the future as far as doing total hip replacements on your dog. Don't be craven to ask, you have the right to know. Any good breeder would offer this information up to you instantly.
they are gently giants, but alot of people are horrified of them b/c of thier size
if you got a short coat one, then your not going to have a lot of grooming. Long coats are going to miss brushed often.
Drymouths tend to have a longer snipy look (like a collie to me) but you have not drool.
Absolute mouths drool everywere.
They are suppost to make good housedogs, but require a fait amount of drill.
...
they are weighty i owned 2, their only downfall really is they slobber a lot and do not have a long lifespan but other than that they are great
Starring for vet tech, she has a saint and a newf. So keep this altruistic until she can get to it. She knows quite a bit about both breeds and can give you good info!
