I once saw a painting of an old fashioned boy in a red overcoat sitting down with a small white dog in his arms (dog's ears are peach color). Does anyone know who painted this or the head of this piece? It looks like it's from the 1700s maybe?
Wow, all of those painings are similar, but still not the one! The boy is blonde and the dog is pocket-sized and looking face on with eyes open. He looks like a white poodle mix with apricot ears.
A: there is one of a boy in a red parka with a dog at these sites:

try www.design-care.com its a Chinese Crested rescue. If they are new coats, they can put them in their raffle.. if its used coats, they would be useful for their fosters.
I'm unfaltering that some small/medium breed rescues would be more than happy to accept your donation of coats!
Take a look at Petfinder.com to find some rescues in your zone, and contact them directly to see if you can drop them off. Otherwise, maybe your local SPCA can put the coats to good use :D
i suppose just give them to your local rspca they will keep them until a dog comes in that will fit them
How wonderful of you, I have no apprehension that your local Humane's society or ASPCA would have a use for them. If not them then there are many many rescue societies online for all breeds that would lady-love to have them. If you have a particular type of dog you love search the name + rescue and you will get a long list.
depending on where you are. If you are in the uk look up the scottish dachshund baton rescue and they will be gladly used.
thanks
Thats positively very kind of you, have you contacted any dogs homes, such as Battersea ( providing of course you're in the area )? How about the R.S.P.C.A? Any brute rescue home or kennels would be glad of your coats, shame you're not selling them as you'd have plenty of buyers ha ha, i bought one from the R.S.P.C.A largesse shop for my little Jack Russell and it keeps him so warm and snug! Best of luck to you.
Why not supply them to a local animal shelter who l am sure would be pleased to use them for sick cats and dogs or if you cannot find one get in touch with your adjoining veterinary surgeon or R.S.P.C.A.. I am sure they would be pleased to use them and maybe could sell some in there shop. Also you could knit some for the cats charge league to us and sell in there shop it all helps there funds. You could also knit other things for them to sell plus other charities like single mothers and...
Greyhound rescues has smaller breeds of greyhounds like whipits and ittalian. Call and see if they can use them otherwise i'm inescapable any local shelther will be more than happy to take them! The local SPCA maybe?
