I have three cats, but I only use two litter boxes because that seems to be enough.
I've tried all sorts of tricks to keep the litter from getting everywhere, but they never profession! I had these litter boxes that were literally boxes with holes on the top, and they worked amazingly well, until the boxes started to smell like cat pee, even when the litter was even. I couldn't scrub out the boxes everyday, so I went back to using old litter boxes.
I try to put...
A: I have a lot of cats and this is what I do: I buy the largest even style covered litter box I can. These aren't very expensive. Then I use scoopable litter. The smaller granules don't scrape as badly. I buy carpet samples or carpet squares and put this at the entrance to the box, tucked under the front of the box a little bit. The carpet traps the litter they road out of the box and the cover keeps the litter from scattering and gives kitty some privacy. The squares are cheap...

In the den...Why were they in quarantine?
Clean up....oh....long trip for a cat. They must be very special!
What cell do you use the toilet in?
You can keep them in the bathroom or on the bottom of a closet off the corridor if you have one.
I use our "cat room" for this. It's a room designated only for the cats. Food is served and processed there. Liter boxes are near the heater. Dry food stays in there. As well as storage for our cleaning supplies, canned goods, and armaments stuff I don't want to keep in the basement. There's a few cat beds in there and some scratching posts too....
Tucked in a corner of the hallway.
u could try the bathroom but justified make sure to keep them clean really clean
I would ponder the bathroom is the best place, that's where my daughter keeps hers.
I have an enclosed back porch that works prime but before that I kept the box in the bathroom. It makes it easy to scoop and dispose of with the toilet right there. The kitchen unquestionably isn't a good place, I've tried that too.
I keep mine in my laundry range with the door slightly cracked. Just enough for the cats to come and go as they please. It also cuts down on the smell. If you don't have one I'd support bathroom or whatever room you DON'T spend a lot of time in.
