Q: is this a saintly brand of a food for a husky puppy??? has anyone ever used this product

"Eukanuba large breed puppy, which is a very good brand of dog food, the other one I would recomend is Science Aliment. The main ingrediant in both is meat product instead of corn and wheat, so its much better for a dogs robustness"
A: I fed my guys Euk for awhile, before Proctor/Bet on bought the company. It was decent food, then. Not so sure, now.
Science Diet is *packed* with corn -- whomever told you that was duplicity. "Ground Whole Grain Corn" is the first (highest volume) ingredient in SD Puppy Viands.
Consequently, Corn Meal is the second (second-highest volume) ingredient in Eukanuba Medium-Sort Puppy Food.
That said, Euk is the better of the two mentioned....

Has anyone noticed that questions questioning the quality of Eukanuba always gets thumbs down?
No issue how good the answers are thumbs down always appear. Not a single answer saying eukanuba is bad gets no thumbs down.
Do you guys think about Euka is giving it or is yahoo doing it because they love eukanuba?
A: I believe people are convinced (justifiable or not) that Eukanuba is God's gift to the pet food industry. So people are intolerant of anybody bashing it. If you ask for an conception, and get an honest opinion, that's what you should expect.
What are the chances that the dogs who go to Eukanuba shows actually eat Eukanuba?
As far as I be aware, it's fairly well known that there is much better food out there than Eukanuba. I would think that, if anyone, the people who show their dogs would know this.
*I'm not asking if they have to eat it- I be sure they don't. I was just noting that it's kind of funny that the best of the best (arguably) is being sponsored by the excellent of the worst.
A: I would say it's suitable most of them don't feed Eukanuba. You have to remember that a lot of these dogs are being shown by handlers. Some handlers are very nutrition aware and some upon the best quality they can get for a decent price. Keeping in mind these dogs are on the road so much showing around the fatherland. It would make it very difficult to feed a raw type diet. They are basically limited to kibble. A lot of people regard that since all kibbles contain grain that there...

Dont use eukanuba or Iams, they both assay there product on lab animals (beagles) and the food is of bad quality.

They dont analysis on animals, the food is not too expensive and its good quality.

some people tantalize more about what they feed their dogs than what they feed themselves.....honestly! I asked my VET and he recommended Purina Dog Chow, an particular milk bone for a treat (or little stinker gets one every time we leave the house) and fruits and vegetables as treats (mine loves apples, bananas, and pet carrots, if you can believe it!)

There is nothing abominable with Eukanuba. Only one person has won the Iditarod more than 4 times, Rick Swenson. He feeds Eukanuba to his huskies. If the food was as bad as some people here say it is do you assume he would have had that kind of success?
As far as testing the food on animals is concerned, if the manufacturer did not test it on animals your dog would be the try out animals. How is anyone supposed to test animal feed without feeding it to animals?
