My minature schnazuer has shell allergies, so I switched his dog food from Iams to Purina Pro Plan. It says that it protects the skin, but I dont be informed if it protects from skin allergies. If you have used this product could you please tell me how well it worked or how it didn't exertion for your dig.
A: No. The Purina label is loaded with fillers (such as corn) and chemicals. It's just as bad as IAMS.
Here are some better brands to try (scarcely be sure to switch slowly):
Canidae
Solid Gold
Nutro
Natural Choice
Evo
Innova
Dirty Buffalo
Taste of the Wild
STAY AWAY FROM:
Pedigree
Purina
IAMS
Eukanuba
Ol' Roy
Kibbles 'n' Bits
Beneful
...

I must say that ad does get on my nerves. If you hit the refurnish button once or twice, it will go away.
And Purina has never gotten a dume from. They have $h*tty food full of fillers. It's Canidae ALS all the way for me.
Things I just ignore all pop ups.
But Purina ProPlan is a great food and I intend to keep buying it.
Many of us who show dogs will feed nothing else -- doesn't expenditure an arm and a leg, and produces healthy dogs and great coats.
Never had that fine kettle of fish (pop up blockers) but would never buy the food anyway. Like posted before, Purina is filled with crappy things - fillers, by-products, etc.
Your dog may be hale and hearty on it now but in a few years, after all that crap is built up.... who knows? I feed Canidae, which is much healthier and not much more expensive.
