I've been researching dog clippers...was wondering if anyone else has occupied this brand and if they're happy with them. I'd be using them on a cocker spaniel. I don't want to pay out a intelligent sum of money only to find out they're useless and keep them in the cupboard. Any info would be appreciated.
A: Andis Shears are accomplished and do a good job .I don't use mine constantly all day but for the jobs I have done they are just as good as Oster. They should work great on a Cocker because their curls usually grows in one direction and is not that thick. The trick is to oil and cool and clean as recommended.Good Luck!!!!!!!!Over about the money saved, soon you will have a good pair payed for and you can keep your dog looking and feeling great. It is mere to do and just read your instructions...

I don't identify about cool but I do know that Andis Super 2 speed are my favorite. They want to cut all day long and they really move the leaflet and seem so much smoother clipping than the nearest competion. I would not think about ever switching back to my old clippers.
