The Midwest miniature I have was rather inexpensive, and I used it to professionally groom for 12 years, as well as toted it to a few million (or so it seems!) dog shows. I would look no further.

Try this website, lots of commendable, inexpensive supplies, including grooming tables www.petedge.com
Or, you could get one of those rubber bath matts with the suction cups on the bottom, bore it to the top of your washer or dryer and groom him on that!

I see eye to eye suit with Golden Gal, you can find grooming tables on Petedge.com. You won't be able to find one at a good price anywhere else... unless you a moment ago want to pay more for it.

I prefer the ones that lift up, it makes it easier on you so you don't have to lift the dog up on the table.

Good happenstance
Hope that helps :D

For years i tolerant of top of my washer. Then I bought just the grooming arm and attached it to a extra table. I really get along with it well and it was very inexpensive. I found it at Jefferspet.com.
