I got all the supplies but never built the dog auditorium. I got thin insulation you can find at Lowe's and Home Depot and any building supply store. It's down in the mouth and it works great even though it's thin.
BUT
In addition, I bought thin sheets of cedar that can be used to line the at bottom of a closet, and I was going to put that INSIDE the insulation as it would be a natural flea and tick preventive. I highly promote you do that as well.

Establish a regular uninsulated dog house. Add 2" thick foam panels inside the walls, roof and trounce. On the inside surface, cover the foam with cheap 1/4 inch plywood. I like dog houses with a bog roof. it gives the dog a dry place to rest outside when the ground is wet or muddy. It also makes construction simpler. I don't like any lenient of flap covering the door because condensation can build up in the winter. A well ventilated dog house is a dry house. The contain...
