Q: My dogs are face dogs,so I want it to be insulated. I want to build it so any websites with free plans would help. They are large dogs.Any Ideas,how to use insulation,or plans would keep from. Best answer gets 10 points!
A: Erect a regular uninsulated dog house. Add 2" thick foam panels inside the walls, roof and astound. On the inside surface, cover the foam with cheap 1/4 inch plywood. I like dog houses with a unexciting roof. it gives the dog a dry place to rest outside when the ground is wet or muddy. It also makes construction simpler. I desire to buy a nail gun to build my own dog houses and went online to check out how much they were when I found out that there is quite a few different brands, types, and make an estimate of nail guns. Boy was I surprised. I will need the nail to go through a 2x4 and plywood as well as siding. Thanks in advance

I got all the supplies but never built the dog auditorium. I got thin insulation you can find at Lowe's and Home Depot and any building supply store. It's down in the mouth and it works great even though it's thin.
BUT
In addition, I bought thin sheets of cedar that can be used to line the at bottom of a closet, and I was going to put that INSIDE the insulation as it would be a natural flea and tick preventive. I highly promote you do that as well.
